The Business Office of the Library is responsible for the management of the Library finances and is the only office which is authorized to request and receive payments. It distributes and manages the sale of Library publications and of all other reproductions of Library materials. It manages the administrative aspect of invoicing and sending photographic reproductions requested by the scholars; the internal and external security of the environment; and the implementation of all technical requirements for the best conservation of the materials entrusted to the Library. In accordance with the respective heads of the various other offices, the Business Office also provides for all ordinary and extraordinary purchases, and is responsible for the management of the maintenance and cleaning of the building, individual offices and all furnishings.
