Council

The Council a is an advisory committee organized to assist the Cardinal Librarian and the Prefect in addressing the more important questions relative to Library activities. The Council is presided over by the Cardinal Librarian and its ordinary members are the Prefect, the Vice Prefect, Directors of the Departments, the Secretary and the Treasurer. At the invitation of the Cardinal Librarian or the Prefect, other Library staff or non-Library staff may participate as extraordinary members when their particular area of expertise is required for a special project.
